Our Story
Beginning
G&S Transfer was founded in 1990 in Kent, Ohio, starting with a single truck and a simple promise: deliver every load safely, on time, and with care. What began as a small, family-driven operation grew organically, one relationship and one successful delivery at a time. That same hardworking spirit is still at the heart of everything we do today.
For roughly 25 years, G&S Transfer proudly ran contract mail routes for the United States Postal Service. Hauling mail on tight, dependable schedules taught us the discipline and precision that still guide our operations today, and it gave us the foundation to grow into the dedicated freight carrier we are now.
Present & Future
G&S Transfer has grown organically by scaling our fleet and broadening our customer network to bring on more freight. Today we operate a medium-sized fleet out of our headquarters in Kent, OH, complete with our own maintenance shop to keep our trucks safe and on the road. Looking ahead, we're focused on continuing that same steady growth, building new customer relationships and expanding our capacity while staying true to the reliability and work ethic that have always defined us.
